Justice Innovation Researcher at HiiL | User-friendly Justice

I currently work for the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL). My work entails working closely with justice innovations from across the world and developing understanding on what characteristics / factors lead to making them scale. Our focus is on creating justice systems that are people-centred and that can make laws user-friendly. Before joining HiiL, I founded Lawtoons in India - an initiative where I worked on developing a comic book series to simplify laws for children. Through these different experiences and endeavours to make laws and legal processes efficient and accessible, I have been connected with the work of WCC and also with the movement of developing better ways to communicate laws and improving relationships.
